My therapeutic approach combines my extensive experience working with a diverse population and establishing a solid, working relationship with my clients. My clients have told me that they enjoy my real sense of humor that helps them break down the walls they have up to protect themselves. This helps them work more effectively in the sessions to reach their goals.
I have worked with clients from various settings including a psychiatric inpatient hospital, domestic violence and sexual assault shelter and center, at-risk family therapy center, continuation high schools with high-risk teens, therapeutic camps for children and in private practice with a diverse population.
Working in psychotherapy takes commitment to yourself in order to grow and reach your goals. Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Many PPO insurance companies reimburse you the percentage on your plan for psychotherapy.
